For Art-O-Rama we would like to present a duo installation by Ria Bosman (BE, 1956) & Anneke Eussen (NL, 1978).
Material abstraction and minimal gesture with found and natural objects & materials is what brings these 2 generations together.
Bosman’s minimalist paintings are made through a careful manipulation of natural materials in a long meditative process of cutting, assembling, painting.
The traces of Eussen’s glass sculptures are reminiscent of glass painting. Nothing is added, the work just becomes through choices in composition & structure.The complexity of the world is simplified through gesture.
