RUBIS SUR L’ONGLE, a project spearheaded by artist Jeanne Moynot, stands at the crossroads of the collaborative artwork, the traveling artist-run space, the museum boutique, the designer’s corner and the art gallery, and hosts editions of objects created by performing artists.
Like the model of sustainable agriculture, RUBIS SUR L’ONGLE is conceived as a short circuit. Working from bio-sourced or recycled materials, the artists, all Do-It-Yourself enthusiasts, practice upcycling: both in terms of materials and ideas, how can we make the most of the backstage area that is the workshop? RUBIS SUR L’ONGLE is an opportunity for some to practise a new technique, while others indulge in the one in which they excel.
