documentsdartistes.org presents works by emerging visual artists living in the South of France
Documents d’Artistes provides a privileged point of view on artistic creation in the PACA region (French Riviera, Nice, Marseille…). The fund currently documents more than 300 artists spanning several generations and a variety of artistic horizons and practices (drawing, painting, sculpture, installation, photography, video, sound, multimedia). Updated on a regular basis, the artist files propose numerous reproductions of works, a CV, bibliography and texts.
As part of the Art-o-rama fair, which takes place at the Friche la Belle de Mai in Marseille from August 25 to 28, 2022, the Réseau documents d’artistes presents “cocktail”, an edition gathering a set of texts on artists commissioned from art critics, curators or academics. To celebrate these new encounters and this choral edition, the artist Diego Guglieri Don Vito has been invited to think and design an original work / device to meet and share in the space of Art-o-rama. In “L’assemblée heureuse, commence à se frôler”, it is a question of painting as much as of conviviality, of volume and of physical experience of space… a welcoming and joyful territory of discovery.
