Anton Corbijn – Artists and more Artists

June 23 – August 15, 2023

Famous for his collaborations with rock ‘n’ roll legends, the Dutch photographer and filmmaker will unveil his intimate portraits of 20th and 21st century icons of music and art, from Lucien Freud to Ai Weiwei, via Prince, Bob Dylan and members of the bands U2 and Nirvana. Highlighting the person rather than the star, these black-and-white shots question our complex relationship with the phenomenon of celebrity.

Jennifer Guidi – Mountain Rouge

June 20 – September 3, 2023

May 29 – September 10, 2023

Photography was central to the life and work of Andy Warhol, who documented his daily life in snapshots. This exhibition will showcase over forty prints assembled by James Hedges, one of the greatest collectors of the King of Pop Art’s photographs, highlighting lesser-known aspects of the artist’s work and life.

Pierre Paulin – Pierre Paulin Program : Des idées courbes, des formes libres

May 29 – September 3, 2023

Organized in collaboration with Paulin, Paulin, Paulin®, this exhibition explores the theme of the curve through several visionary and protean creations by renowned French designer Pierre Paulin and star Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer.

Anselm Kiefer

June 9 – September 3, 2023

German artist Anselm Kiefer will install five outdoor sculptures from his “Women of Antiquity” series at Château La Coste. Visitors will discover these bronze wedding dresses along art and architecture, each bearing an individual attribute of a female figure from history. Her depiction of the Greek lyric poetess Sappho, for example, carrying a tower of lead books on her shoulders, is the artist’s “monument to all the unknown women poets”.
