A private collection of drawings in Provence
The Musée des Beaux-Arts de Marseille presents L’Esprit du Trait, a remarkable private collection comprising around a hundred French drawings dating from the 17th to the early 19th centuries. Dedicated to artists who worked in Provence, whether they were from the region or elsewhere, this collection illustrates the richness of the local artistic scene and its roots in the major European movements.
