On Monday morning, we’re offering a tour of the CAB Foundation in Saint-Paul-de-Vence at 10:30am. There, we’ll explore two exhibitions:
“Abstract Constructions” by Nassos Daphnis and Rita McBride.
The exhibition by Gregory Lang, guest curator at the CAB Foundation, presents a unique formal and conceptual link between a selection of key works by two American artists from different generations, leading us to explore spatial abstraction, between structure, surface and architecture.
“Inventeur de maisons” by Jean Prouvé, a major figure in 20th-century architecture and design, who centred his work on a founding ambition: to industrialise the act of building. Bringing together photographic prints of iconic architectural works from the archives, spanning the 1930s to the 1970s, the exhibition traces a chronological journey through the evolution of Jean Prouvé’s constructions.
