On Thursday at 4.30 pm, we will visit the exhibition “Méditerranea Mundi” at the Polaris art centre in Istres. Opened in June 2022, Polaris aims to forge lasting connections with the public through exhibitions and immersive experiences.

 

“Méditerranea Mundi” is an invitation to journey to the heart of a space unique in the world: the Mediterranean. A sea of passage and encounter, it has connected civilisations, cultures and imaginations for millennia.
The exhibition brings together some twenty artists united by a shared fascination: this cradle of civilisations stretching from the sea to the islands, delving into the depths of land and sea to explore a mosaic of identities.
