Caroline Trucco’s artistic approach poetically links ethnographic and political issues. As a storyteller, she disseminates stories of struggle and emancipation in exhibition spaces. Photographs, installations and videos tell of journeys, objects, encounters and personal and collective stories. The exhibition poetically captures the artist’s investigations and reflections over the past ten years.

 

Thu-Van Tran, Nous vivons dans l’éclat

In summer 2023, MAMAC will present an exhibition devoted to the artist Thu-Van Tran, the artist’s first major museum monograph in France following his participation in MAMAC’s group show Cosmogonies, au gré des éléments in summer 2018.

 

Marcel Alocco, La Peinture en Fragments

Marcel Alocco’s work is honored in a show designed in collaboration with the artist and Enseigne des Oudin. On this occasion, the artist and the Endowment Fund are lending major works that are associated with those in the MAMAC collection. La Peinture en Fragments (Painting in Fragments) explores the limits of painting and sign by this visual artist and writer.

 

Ville Songe. In situ intervention by Flora Moscovici

Ville Songe is an in situ intervention by Flora Moscovici, an abstract painting on the scale of the architecture of one of MAMAC’s terraces that comes into dialogue with the urban landscape that unfolds 360°c on the museum’s roof.
