LUMA Arles presents Le chant du center (2024), a new artistic concept in collaboration with Theaster Gates as part of a long-term commitment to this renowned artist. Le chant du center follows on from the success of Min | Mon (2023), Gates’ first exhibition at Arles, and continues the artist’s ongoing exploration of performance, materiality and labor in the form of a series of ambitious creative projects.

Judy Chicago: Herstory was presented at the New Museum in New York in 2023. It received rave reviews, offering for the first time a historical and narrative context for her entire body of work.
