The Frac Sud – Cité de l’art contemporain invites artist Éléonore False to present a monographic exhibition within its walls, unprecedented in its scope, showcasing a decade of productions and research on the image and its imaginaries.
The title of the exhibition, “Le Fil de chaîne” (The Warp Thread), borrowed from the vocabulary of fabric manufacturing, refers to the warp thread, which, when crossed with the weft thread, allows fabric to be produced. It is through this interweaving that seven series of works interact in the space in the form of a large installation.
