For their first participation in ART-O-RAMA’s EDITION SECTION, TCHIKEBE will present a selection of artists’ works around new productions by Tania Mouraud. The project aims to investigate areas of editions with a focus on distorsions. Areas which non-seducing and non-reassuring natures are balanced by their public speaking opportunities. Areas which are free from the spectacular nature of everyday life and bear a confidential and multiple relationship with reality.
Tania Mouraud is a unique artist in a class of her own. Her work has constantly evolved since she started creating in the 1960s, alternatively exploring multiple media including, but not limited to: painting, installation, photography, performance, video, and sound. Yet one thing has remained consistent, her works have always explored the relationship between art and social connections.
