Région Sud Design Prize

In the continuity of the Région Sud Art Prize, Art-o-rama implemented in 2022 the Région Sud Design Prize which highlights young designers of the region and participates in their professionalization.

The Région Sud Design Prize is aimed at designers who completed all or part of their studies in the region and/or who reside in the Région Sud Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur. Designers will be selected by a curator to be shown in a dedicated space during Art-o-rama.

The winner will be selected by a jury of professionals during Art-o-rama and will benefit from a 2 000 € grant and an exhibition space during the next edition of the fair.

The curator for the Design Showroom 2026 is Justinien Tribillon

Justinien Tribillon, 2026 Design Showroom Curator

Justinien Tribillon is a curator, writer, and teacher with a transdisciplinary and itinerant practice encompassing social sciences, photography, architecture, history, and design. His recent publications include: La Zone: Une Histoire Alternative de Paris (B42, 2025), Rudéral: Identités Liquides (Deux-cent-cinq, 2024), and Visible upon Breakdown (Spector Books, 2024). Justinien teaches history, theory, and criticism at the École des Arts Décoratifs Paris — PSL and was a resident at the Villa Medici in 2023-2024 as an exhibition curator.
