Meessen De Clercq, Brussels
Meessen De Clercq presents a solo project of French artist Théo Massoulier, with a careful selection of the artist’s sculptures.
Théo Massoulier primarily uses sculpture and video to produce hybrid and dynamic forms, often of small size. He assembles visual installations, through heterogeneous assemblies or video projections on different media, that aspire to “reconnect us with the cosmic continuum”. His works start from the emergence of matter in the microscopic field and gain complexity to be deployed in the macroscopic universe.
Placed at eye level, the visitors can discover the – by times humorous – complexity of the sculptures and appreciate their meticulous assembly of different living universes.
