2016

Ellen de Bruijne Projects, Amsterdam

For their first participation in ART-O-RAMA, Amsterdam-based gallery Ellen de Bruijne Projects selected artists in a curated proposal who deal with architecture and the monumental, literally and metaphorical.

Kasper Akhoj will show his black&white photographs where he re-writes history of the Eileen Gray building in the South of France. Falke Pisano will show her Dynamo floor piece, which refers to a set of rules belonging to a “floor-play”, in combination with a model from her series “the Body in Crisis”.

Klaas Kloosterboer will show his monumental sanded paintings in prime-colours. And Marianne Viero will show her latest pieces that occupy the room with a minimum of material, but maximum effect.
