Atelier Vis-à-Vis, Marseille

Marc-Antoine Garnier - Jennifer Hugot - Nicolas Pincemin - Armelle de Sainte Marie.

Atelier Vis-à-Vis presents its latest productions, which came out from the printing press. Focus on our four invited artists : Nicolas Pincemin, Marc-Antoine Garnier, Armelle de Sainte Marie, and Jennifer Hugot.

Always on the cutting edge, Nicolas Pincemin offers a profusion of landscapes in which the painting, broken down into several layers of print, is filled with detail.
It resonates, transforming itself into a wavering space of contrasting colours. In the same way, Armelle de Sainte Marie invites us to observe a multitude of tracings and materials in overlapping hybrid forms. Sublimated by the technique of silk-screen printing, keeping the precision and delicacy of her gestures, stratum by stratum, a vibration on the surface of the paper emerges.

By manipulating the paper, Marc-Antoine Garnier and Jennifer Hugot echo these generous images in a dialogue of visual conversations. They play with the medium to disrupt our vision…

Four artists scrutinise the smallest details of what surrounds us. Their poetic vibrancy awakens our memories and imaginations.
