Light Into Color

Ha Chong-Hyun

Exhibition from June 22 to September 1, 2025 at the Renzo Piano Pavilion

One of Korea’s most famous artists and a leading figure in Dansaekhwa, a monochrome painting movement that emerged in post-war Korea in the early 1970s. Ha is particularly known for his “Conjonction” paintings, through which he perfected his characteristic technique of bringing paint from the back of the burlap canvas—used specifically as a material reminiscent of the “ruins of war”—to the front of the work, in direct opposition to Western pictorial traditions.

Sophie Calle

From June 15 to August 31, 2025, at the Richard Rogers Gallery

This summer, Château La Coste is pleased to present a new exhibition by Sophie Calle, reaffirming the special relationship that has existed for many years between the artist and the estate.

In 2025, Sophie Calle will take over the Richard Rogers Gallery to present À l’Affût (2017-2022).

This project, which skillfully blends the worlds of hunting and romantic conquest, brings together photographs and texts.
