This will be an opportunity to showcase the rich collection of Carré d’Art – Musée d’art contemporain, whose first acquisitions date back to 1986.
With your VIP card (valid for two people) you benefit from free admissions at Carré d’Art from August 28 to September 10 included. Please check the opening times and dates on the website.
La mélodie des choses
To mark this anniversary, Carré d’Art presents the exhibition LA MÉLODIE DES CHOSES. Regards sur la collection. This exceptional presentation allows visitors to discover or revisit works ranging from movements that emerged in the 1960s, such as Nouveau Réalisme and Supports-Surfaces, to the most contemporary proposals, as well as French and German painting of the 1980s, and the presence of singular artists.
Suzanne Lafont – Museum photographic collection
In this presentation, unavailable images necessary for the proposal will be shown as posters in their original dimensions. They will be accompanied by the title of the work, the name of the artist and the reason why they are not included in the exhibition.
