Ryan Jamali

As part of the Aix Biennale, Fête de la science and Visites insolites du CNRS, the Maison méditerranéenne des sciences de l’Homme and Voyons Voir present the installation / video game, from October to December 2024. Among the highlights, an art-science encounter with the artist and researchers in the humanities and social sciences will explore contemporary issues in Lebanese society, as well as the interactions between art, science and society, based on an immersive discovery of Ryan Jamali’s work.

Dans le sillage d’Aphrodite

From August 24, 2023 to July 1, 2024

Dominique Castell

Dominique Castell’s project Dans le sillage d’Aphrodite (In the wake of Aphrodite) looks to Greece and to a certain idea of sport… During her residency in Kythera in the summer of 2023, Dominique swam and began a series of graphic and video works, which she continued on a journey that took her from the island of Aphrodite to Mortefontaine, where Watteau painted the embarkation for Kythera. The exhibition, which will take place this autumn in Aix-en-Provence and then at the American Union in Athens, will bring together the works of Dominique Castell and those of two young artists from the Marseille and Athens art schools, themselves in residence in both countries.

Your VIP card (valid for two people) gives you free admission to Voyons voir from August 26 to September 8 inclusive. Please check opening times and dates on their website.
