On Saturday evening from 8 pm to 10 pm, the Camargo Foundation and The Racial Imaginary Institute (TRII) invite you to an evening of presentations and conversation at the Camargo Foundation. In the presence of The Racial Imaginary Institute, the event will feature the work of artists P. Carl, Sonya Clark, Cameron Patricia Downey, Therese Stanton, Njaimeh Njie, and Jina Valentine, who have been in residence at Camargo throughout the summer of 2026. The gathering marks the beginning of a collaboration between Camargo and TRII, two organizations committed to supporting artists and safeguarding freedom of expression. Rooted in Jerome Hill’s legacy and in the spirit of the initiatives that helped artists and intellectuals at risk find refuge in the South of France in the XXth century, this partnership seeks to provide time, space, and support for artists navigating the pressures and vulnerabilities of the present.
