On Sunday mornings at 9.15 am, we are offering a guided tour of Flore Saunois’s exhibition at Le code a changé.

 

Le code a changé is a site-specific exhibition project conceived by collector Didier Webre. Set within an apartment overlooking the Vieux Port and offering a 180° panoramic view, this unique installation invites artists to create works specifically designed for the space.

 

For this new instalment, artist Flore Saunois presents a brand-new project.

Drawing inspiration from the streams of light flooding the space, Flore Saunois has conceived an exhibition in which light influences the works, dictates their duration, and creates moments that are stretched, suspended or slowed down. The pieces on display draw on a vocabulary of domestic objects: delicate sculptures and installations in the form of trivial, ultra-everyday objects, from which emerge questions of memory and forgetting, of presence and its corollary of disappearance, of fragility countered by a dense presence.
