Architecture 54
This summer, Architecture 54 is delivering two exceptional hotels in the idyllic setting of the calanques near Marseille.
The Hotel Bleu in Carry Le Rouet is a complete hotel concept imagined by Pascale Bartoli and Thierry Lombardi as an immersion in the Mediterranean and around the color of vacation. A color that has also inspired numerous artists gathered around Marie Veidig to decorate this nautical setting.
At the opposite end of the Côte Bleu, in the renowned port of Cassis, the Hôtel Lieutaud celebrates its rebirth in this legendary location. In a delicate décor evocative of the 1950s and yachting, we once again find an artistic journey inspired by the calanques. In the Lobby, Elsa Noyon’s sail shows us a sail on which she has drawn a map of this legendary site. Based on the calanques of Cassis, she has created an exclusive series of drawings for the rooms, associated with works by Liam Stevens, Bonnefrite and Prudence Dudan.
Passionate about art and design, the architects at Architecture 54 have combined their talents to create unique, welcoming contemporary spaces.
Architecture de collection
Architecture de Collection is a real estate agency dedicated exclusively to the remarkable architecture of the 20th and 21st centuries, and is developing a project that is unique in France, based on a cultural ambition: to work towards the transmission of modern and contemporary architectural heritage. Based in Paris and Marseille, the agency is run by a team of art historians and real estate professionals. By presenting for sale properties signed by the greatest architects, the agency promotes architecture in the manner of an art gallery: historical, technical and artistic understanding are at the heart of its approach. Through its cultural activities (such as the architectural tours and the Archinovo Prize dedicated to contemporary home architecture), the project federates a French and international community of “collectors”, for whom architecture rhymes with works of art for living.
Le Conservateur
Founded in 1844, Le Conservateur mutual associations are today one of the major players in the patrimonial market, offering unique solutions that have proved their worth in the field, such as the tontine, a collective savings solution that brings together groups of savers in the form of an association.
“Patronage is first and foremost a tool for cultural and artistic development, enabling the preservation and transmission of cultural heritage. These values are perfectly in line with our strategic vision of asset management for business owners and professionals. In both areas, the aim is to give value to time. And that’s why joining the Circle of Patrons of Art-o-rama and encouraging young contemporary art and design artists seemed an obvious choice.”

Ultimate Provence
With its avant-garde concept, halfway between an exceptional wine estate and an elegant contemporary boutique hotel, Ultimate Provence is one of those places that leaves no one indifferent. Located in the mythical Var hinterland (La Garde-Freinet), dotted with vineyards and olive groves, UP reinvents “savoir-être à la Provençale” and overturns the codes of this land of strong traditions.
Behind the success of these crus is Bordeaux-born oenologist Alexis Cornu, who crafts a wine he loves, with the ultimate aim of savoring every sip with passion.
Influenced by the design and architecture of the 1920s, the bottle’s unique design, with glass striations representing the sun’s rays on the vines, is timeless, designed to transcend trends and be endlessly reused to become a true objet d’art. In 2024, Ultimate Provence teamed up with Q bouteilles to unveil its first tableware collection, combining upcycling of its iconic bottle with contemporary design.
Hôtel Mercure Canebière – Vieux Port
Located on the mythical Canebière, one of Marseille’s most beautiful thoroughfares, the Mercure Canebière Marseille Vieux Port invites guests to discover a setting that combines modern design and a warm atmosphere, all the while honoring the vibrant colors of Provence.
Ideally nestled in a 19th-century building in the heart of the city center, this prestigious hotel offers 90 comfortable rooms, including 18 superior rooms, 3 suites and a sumptuous “Privilège” room. The latter features a private terrace with a breathtaking view of Notre-Dame de la Garde. The hotel also offers a seminar and reception service, with three fully-equipped meeting rooms.
The hotel’s bistronomic restaurant, Le Capucin, run by the talented Chef Noël Baudrand, offers an intimate yet relaxed culinary experience. Guests can enjoy inventive, refined cuisine, prepared with fresh, seasonal ingredients.
The Mercure Canebière Vieux Port, with its brasserie Le Capucin, has become a benchmark for good taste, design and Mediterranean art of living, and a key partner of the international contemporary art and design fair Art-o-rama.
