Atelier Vis-à-Vis, Marseille

Marc-Antoine Garnier, Tomek Jarolim, Isabella Kolhuber, Pascal Navarro

Founded in 1987, Atelier Vis-à-Vis is a publisher dedicated to the production of artists’ multiples on paper. Conceived as a research laboratory within the field of visual arts, it develops and promotes contemporary interdisciplinary practices through production residencies. These cycles of creation-true dialogues between artist and publisher-bring together traditional techniques and theoretical reflections. Through this process, Atelier Vis-à-Vis invites artists to question the status of the printed image: how can an artwork exist as a multiple? How can art and technique resonate with one another?

For its sixth participation in the Art-o-rama fair, Atelier Vis-à-Vis presents its latest editions of four invited artists, freshly printed from its presses.
