The morning continues with a visit to the studio of artist Charlie Warde.
A multi-disciplined artist, Charlie Warde questions how the utopian ideas behind Modernist architecture match up to their creators’ prescribed vision. He quotes post-war era social housing as his source material at a time when we are rapidly divesting ourselves of our ‘failed’ architectural heritage. Represented by Cable Depot, he lives and works in Marseille and exhibits internationally.
Shuttles will be available to take you around the neighbourhood for this studio visit, Delphine Wibaux’s studio visit and brunch at Tchikebe between 10:30am and 12:20pm. At 12:20pm, the shuttles will leave for Mucem from Frac Sud. Register to the visit to the Mucem!
