After our visit to Luma Arles, we propose a brunch at the Villa Benkemoun, a 70’s architecture building celebrating its 50th anniversary this summer. We will be enjoying the 50th anniversary exhibition in preview.

 

The exhibition builds bridges between eras, arts and generations, in search of clues from the past that shed light on the present. Inspired by the audacity of Simone and Pierre Benkemoun, driven by the idea of progress and seeking to concretize their vision of the future in the modernist architecture of Émile Sala, this exhibition will bring together visionary artists, singular works and radical thinking from yesterday and today, in order to grasp what we have become between 1974 and 2024.
