Atelier Vis-à-Vis, Marseille

Marina Pagès, Nicolas Giraud, Tomek Jarolim and Isabella Kohlhuber

For its first participation in Art-o-rama, Atelier Vis-à-Vis presents a selection of original prints created on its presses in collaboration with artists. This edition highlights the work of Marina Pagès, Nicolas Giraud, Tomek Jarolim and Isabella Kohlhuber.

In these editions, code serves as the origin of the image. By rethinking the history of society and its contemporary repercussions, the artists explore the mechanisms behind the construction of language and writing. While their works generate forms based on structured protocols, the subjective framework that give them meaning persistently draws us back into the intimate. Thus, the works presented by these four artists become vectors of sensitivity. Through the creation of series, these visual proposals lead us to contemplate the shifts and convergences of meaning, overturning our perceptions.
