On Tuesday morning, we invite you to visit Villa Carmignac on the island of Porquerolles. The Vertigo exhibitio explores in a unique way the links between the perception of natural phenomena and abstraction since the 1950s, echoing the dizzying experience of the Mediterranean sun, the mistral wind, the waves, the immensity of the sky, and the depths of the sea. From Yves Klein to Gerhard Richter, Helen Frankenthaler, Olafur Eliasson, and Frank Bowling, the exhibition brings together some fifty works that invite visitors to experience the vertigo of the gaze.
