Région Sud Design Prize Showroom 2025

Following in the footsteps of the Prix Région Sud Art, the Prix Région Sud Design was created in 2022 to highlight young designers from the region and contribute to their professionalization. The designers selected by a curator will present their work in a dedicated space during Art-o-rama.

The winner selected by a jury of professionals during Art-o-rama will receive a 2,000 € production bourse and a dedicated exhibition space during the next edition of the show.

 Edda Rabold

With a degree in industrial design from Burg Giebichenstein in Halle, Germany, Edda Rabold moved to Marseille in 2021 to work as a freelance designer in the fields of industrial design and web development. In parallel, she works for AATB, where she immerses herself in various design processes, from construction to modeling and research. Today she focuses on developing her own practice and exploring new design methodologies and manufacturing technologies.

Zerma

After 5 years’ training in object design, Zerma had the opportunity to join the workshop of Jean Prouvé’s former right-hand man. At the time, he was subcontracted by a candle brand to produce marble candle accessories, but suffered an accident due to the speed required. Following this, he decided to continue his studies in research, and stopped working in this field. He then turned to a feeding job, which he eventually integrates into his practice. He is now launching a collection of books corresponding to the different professions he has worked on, as well as a collection of santons linked to the different professions.
